Jamiez LLC (“Jamiez,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the personal information you entrust to us. This Privacy Policy details our practices regarding the collection, use, protection, and disclosure of personal data collected through our primary website (jamiez.com), specialized operational domains (including jamiezcleanz.com, jamiezjobz.com, and jamiezgiftz.com), our customer service and communication lines, and our residential concierge, household assistance, cleaning, pet, automotive, gift basket, and vendor-coordination services (collectively, the “Services”).

1. Categories of Personal Information We Collect

To coordinate and perform physical residential management, we collect information across several categories:

  • Client Identifiers and Contact Records: Legal name, service address, billing address, phone number, and email address.
  • Access and Security Credentials: Gate codes, key lockbox combinations, digital smart-lock invitations, physical entry instructions, alarm disarm/arm codes, pet containment parameters, and designated off-limit property zones.
  • Household and Operational Profiles: Pet details (temperament, care schedules, vet contacts), vehicle information (make/model/license plate for JamiezCarz coordination), surface care instructions, equipment manuals, and project preferences.
  • Job Verification Media (Before-and-After Records): Digital photographs or short video recordings taken by our field personnel inside or outside your premises immediately prior to beginning work and immediately upon completion.
  • Gift Orders (JamiezGiftz): The purchaser’s name and contact details; each recipient’s name and delivery address; enclosure card messages; gate codes or delivery instructions; and a photograph of the delivered basket at the delivery location, taken to confirm delivery.
  • Billing and Financial Records: Credit card tokens, transaction history, and invoicing details. Payment processing is conducted through third-party PCI-DSS compliant payment gateways (e.g., Stripe); Jamiez does not store raw, unencrypted credit card numbers.
  • Digital Tracking and Technical Data: IP addresses, browser types, device identifiers, and site usage metrics collected through cookies and tracking pixels (specifically active on jamiezcleanz.com).

2. Physical Property Security and Access Protocols

Because our personnel operate inside private residences, we enforce access controls around physical entry credentials:

  • Dedicated “Access and Security” Record: Sensitive client property instructions, alarm codes, lockbox combinations, and entry methods are kept in a separate “Access and Security” record attached to the client’s internal profile, stored on encrypted infrastructure.
  • Restricted Access: Only authorized Jamiez administrators can view this record in our systems. We share entry details with the team member assigned to your visit only as needed to perform that visit.

3. Purpose and Use of Interior Job Photography

  • Strict Quality and Completion Verification: Before-and-after photographs taken by Jamiez personnel serve exclusively as internal documentation to establish baseline property conditions, confirm task completion, resolve quality concerns, and provide operational records.
  • No Marketing Usage Without Explicit Consent: Jamiez does not publish, post, or distribute interior or exterior photographs of your home on social media channels (including @heyjamiez), advertising materials, or public portfolios. Any promotional use of property imagery requires a separately executed, written Media Release and Liability Waiver signed by the client.

4. Preferred Vendor Coordination and Address Redaction (JamiezJobz)

When coordinating work through independent contractors, specialized artisans, or the JamiezJobz directory:

  • Anonymized Scope for Competitive Bidding: When soliciting bids or estimates from third-party contractors, Jamiez shares only the project specifications, photo documentation of the specific project area, and the general neighborhood or municipality (e.g., Willow Glen, San Jose).
  • Affirmative Consent for Physical Address Disclosure: Jamiez will never share your exact residential street address or unit number with a prospective independent contractor unless you provide affirmative consent to permit an on-site visit or walk-through for inspection and estimation.

5. Website Tracking, Analytics, and Advertising Disclosure

Tracking technologies vary across the Jamiez digital ecosystem:

  • jamiezcleanz.com (Targeted Advertising): This property deploys third-party advertising tags, including the Meta Pixel and Google Ads conversion tracking, to measure campaign effectiveness and deliver local residential cleaning promotions. These tools may collect IP addresses, device identifiers, and on-site booking events.
  • jamiez.com, jamiezjobz.com, and jamiezgiftz.com: These sites operate with standard operational server logging and do not deploy cross-context behavioral ad trackers. JamiezGiftz checkout runs on Stripe’s own pages, which use their own cookies for payment security and fraud prevention.
  • Do Not Track: Our sites do not currently respond to browser “Do Not Track” signals. jamiez.com, jamiezjobz.com, and jamiezgiftz.com do not track visitors across other websites, so the signal does not change anything there.
  • Opting Out: You may opt out of third-party tracking pixels by adjusting your browser cookie settings or exercising your opt-out rights under Section 7 below.

6. SMS and Carrier Messaging Disclosures (Twilio Compliance)

Jamiez utilizes telephone and SMS messaging channels (including carrier-registered communications via Twilio) for operational notifications, such as arrival windows, entry confirmations, real-time access inquiries, and billing receipts.

  • Consent and Frequency: By providing your mobile number during onboarding or booking, you consent to receive transactional text messages. Message frequency varies based on your active service appointments.
  • Message and Data Rates: Standard messaging and data rates may apply pursuant to your wireless carrier agreement.
  • Opt-Out: You may reply STOP to any text message from Jamiez at any time to discontinue SMS communications. You may reply HELP for operational assistance.
  • Strict Carrier Privacy Guarantee: Mobile phone numbers collected specifically for SMS operational consent will not be sold, rented, leased, or shared with third parties or unaffiliated business partners for marketing or promotional purposes.

7. California Privacy Rights (CCPA / CPRA & CalOPPA Notice)

California residents hold specific statutory rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act:

  • Right to Know and Access: You may request disclosure of the specific pieces and categories of personal information collected, the sources of collection, the operational purposes for maintaining the data, and the third parties with whom data is shared.
  • Right to Delete: You may request the deletion of your personal information, subject to statutory retention exceptions (such as maintaining tax records, completing transactions, or preserving safety and liability records).
  • Right to Correct: You may request correction of inaccurate profile, contact, or property information.
  • Right to Limit Use of Sensitive Personal Information: You have the right to limit our processing of sensitive personal information (including residential entry credentials and precise geolocation) strictly to the operational scope necessary to perform the requested Services.
  • Right to Opt-Out of the “Sale” or “Sharing” of Personal Data: Jamiez does not sell personal information for financial compensation. However, the use of Meta and Google ad-tracking tags on jamiezcleanz.com may constitute “sharing” for cross-context behavioral advertising under California law. You may opt out of such tracking at any time.
  • Non-Discrimination: Exercising your CPRA rights will not result in denied services, altered response rates, or penalty pricing.

Submitting a Verified Request: To exercise these rights, submit a written request with the subject line “California Privacy Request” to hello@jamiez.com. We will verify your identity via your registered client contact credentials before executing any data modification or deletion.

8. Data Retention and Account Archival

  • Access Credentials: Digital keys, entry codes, and lockbox combinations stored in the “Access and Security” record are purged from active personnel access upon account closure or client cancellation request.
  • Verification Photos: Before-and-after work documentation is retained in secure digital storage for the duration of the operational and insurance liability period, after which it is archived or deleted.
  • Tax and Transaction Records: Billing ledgers, service contracts, and payment histories are maintained for standard legal and accounting audit windows (typically 7 years).

9. Children’s Privacy

Our services are contracted strictly with adults aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly solicit or collect personal information from individuals under 16 years of age.

10. Updates to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect new service offerings, changes in our software infrastructure, or revisions in state or federal regulations. Revisions will be posted with an updated “Last Updated” date. Continued engagement of our Services constitutes acceptance of the posted terms.
